EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S G.A.C. CLUB NOTES
Adult Football
Our senior side had two outings over the last week, picking up two points from a possible four. They defeated Ardboe by 2-07 to 0-09 but were beaten by Errigal Ciaran by 0-08 to 2-11. Our Reserve side drew with Ardboe 2-09 to 0-15 but were also beaten by Errigal Ciaran by 2-15 to 0-08.
The next round of Tyrone Division 1 League games take place this Sunday 19th June, at home against Trillick. Reserve 2.15pm and Senior 3.45pm.
Minor Football
Eglish will play Dromore in the quarter-final of the Grade 1 Tyrone Minor Football League on Wednesday 22nd June. Venue and time to be confirmed.
Under 16 Football
Our Under 16’s start their Grade 1 League campaign with a home fixture against Clonoe on Thursday 23rd June. Throw-in at 7.30pm.
Under 12 Football
The Under 12’s next match in the Go Games competition is away to Clonoe on Tuesday 14th June at 7.00pm. This is followed by a home game against Ardboe on Monday 20th June at 7.00pm and an away game to Pomeroy on Monday 27th June.
Under 10 Go Games Blitz
The next round of Under 10’s Go Games is scheduled for this Saturday 18th June and will be hosted by Greencastle. All players and parents should stay in contact with the Under 10 management for details.
Recreational Football
There is a Recreational Football Tournament on this Friday evening in Eskra, starting at 7.00pm. This is for any players over 30. If interested contact Barry Fay on 07702877233. Everyone welcome.
Primary School Football
Well done to Roan and Derrylatinee Primary Schools who competed in the Cabragh Cup recently. Roan got to the Cabragh Cup Final but were defeated by Galbally while Derrylatinee got to the Cabragh Shield Semi-Final but were beaten by Edendork.
Club Lotto
Winning Lotto numbers for Monday 6th June were 2, 6, 9 and 22. There were three Match 3 winners: Catherine Muldoon, Patrick Daly Mairead Mason. Lotto Jackpot for Monday 13th June is £2,850.
Tyrone Summer Camp
The club encourages all underage players to participate in the Tyrone Summer Camps. It is due to be held in Eglish from Monday 4th July to Thurdsay 7th July. Everyone should register as soon as possible as there is a late registration fee of £5 for late entries. Application forms can be downloaded from www.tyronegaa.ie.
