EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S CAMOGIE CLUB NOTES
The 2011 Underage Presentation will take place on Friday 9th December in the Crannon Inn at 8pm. All Post Primary, Under 14 and Under 16 players are invited to attend with parents and family. The underage awards for these teams will be presented on the night by senior manger Jim McCormick. Admission is £5 for supper and presentations will be followed by disco.
Underage training for Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10 continues this Friday 11th November. There has been a great turnout of underage players for the past four – weeks well done to all the girls.
The camogie club in conjunction with the football club will begin a new underage initiative on Monday 14th November introduced by the Tyrone GAA Board. The Gaelic Start & Fundamentals programme is aimed at girls and boys from 4-9 years. The aim of this programme is to help coaches and parents plan and implement an effective and efficient coaching programme for children of all abilities. The programme has been designed so that it can be used by children, parents and non coaching personnel. It supports the developmental stages of all children regardless of ability. It offers a variety of progressive, challenging and fun activities – warm ups, games and skills, and includes activities that can be set up quickly & easily. Details of the programme will be distributed at training on Friday evening.
Training for Under 16 and Under 18 players will take place from 7-8pm this Friday in the Sports Hall with senior manager Mr Jim McCormick.
The clubs annual Bazaar Bingo will take place on Friday 25th November in the Parochial Hall at 8pm sharp. There will be lots of great prizes and the annual raffle will take place, tickets on sale and available from any senior member.
