Primary School Camogie

Congratulations to Roan St Patrick’s Camogie team, Catherine Muldoon, Amy McGleenan, Emma Muldoon, Aoife McConnell, Aisling Byrne, Laoise Toye and Blaithin McVeigh, who qualified for the Tyrone finals by winning the Dungannon area blitz held in the Loughview Sports Centre recently.  In the final the girls competed against Carrickmore, Greencastle, and Kingsisland with Carrickmore being victorious.

Colleges Camogie

Well done to corner forward Alannah Muldoon, full back Shelley McVeigh and Dungannon’s Aine Donnelly who were part of the St. Catherine’s Armagh team which played in the All Ireland Junior Colleges semi-final against Sacred Heart Tullamore at Pearse Og Armagh on Saturday morning.  In an entertaining and close encounter St. Catherine’s were very unlucky to be defeated by the narrowest of margins 3-4, 3-3.  Also, well done to the club’s senior player and County Development Officer Leona Gallagher who was appointed by All Ireland Colleges to referee this match..
