Adult Football
Our Senior team registered their first win of the season when they defeated Moortown at home in the league. Final score Eglish 2-06, Moortown 0-02.
Our Reserves also had a good win as they ran to victory on a score line of Eglish 2-11, Moortown 1-07.
There are no adult fixtures this weekend due to the Tyrone v Kildare game in the NFL Division 2 Final.
The next few fixtures are as follows: Sunday 6th May, home v Dromore; Sunday 13th May, away v Donaghmore; Sunday 20th May, away v Errigal Ciaran; Sunday 27th May, home v Carrickmore. All start times are Reserve at 2.15pm and Senior at 3.45pm.

Under 18 (Minor) Football
The Minors played out an entertaining draw with Stewartstown last week. Final score was 0-09 apiece.
The next few fixtures are as follows: Wednesday 25th April at 7pm, away v Kildress; Wednesday 9th May at 7.15pm, at home v Moortown; Friday 18th May at 6.45pm, away v Derrylaughan; Friday 25th May at 7.30pm, away v Moy.
Under 16 Football
Our Under 16’s played Naomh Mhuire (Edendork and Killyman amalgamation) in the league last week in a home fixture. They were beaten on the night on a score line Naomh Mhuire 4-07 to 1-05.
The next few fixtures are as follows: Saturday 5th May at 4pm, away v Stewartstown; Saturday 12th May at 4pm, at home v Coalisland; Saturday 2nd June at 4pm, away v Clonoe; Tuesday 19th June at 7.30pm, at home v Pomeroy.
Under 14 Football
Congratulations to our Under 14 players who won their group section of the Grade 2 Feile recently. The team had three great performances defeating Derrytresk, Tattyreagh and Moy. Well done to their coaches Gerard McGurk. Bartley Finnegan and Matthew McGleenan. Training continues on Wednesday 5.30pm to 6.45pm and Friday 6pm to 7.15pm this week.
Eglish have been drawn against Fintona in the semi-final of the Grade 2 Feile, to be played on Tuesday evening, 24th April, at 6.45pm in Fintona along with the other semi-final, Strabane v Aghyaran. Bus for all players and management is leaving Eglish at 5.30pm sharp.
The Under 14’s begin their league campaign in Grade 3A on Tuesday 8th May at 7.15pm, with an away game against Moy. This is followed by a home game v Naomh Mhuire (Edendork and Killyman amalgamation) on Monday 14th May at 7.30pm.
Under 10’s, 8’s & 6’s Football
The Go Games for Under 8’s began Saturday morning past in Moy and will be played every other Saturday for the next number of weeks.
Under 10’s Go Games began Saturday previous and will also be played every other Saturday morning.
Players and parents should note that underage rules apply to participation at coaching and Go Games blitz. i.e. under 8’s include children that are aged 8 on, or after, 1st January 2012; under 10’s include children that are aged 10 on, or after, 1st January 2012.
Players and parents are also encouraged to keep in contact with coaches at training regarding attendance at Go Games as numbers need to be booked in with the designated club holding each blitz.
Coaching for Under 6’s and Under 8’s is on-going on Thursday evenings. It will continue at this time on Thursday evenings for the remainder of the season. All parents are reminded that club membership is now due for 2012.
Pairc Chormaic
The club extends its appreciation for the magnificent effort in recent weeks to everyone for the work at Pairc Chormaic and help with fundraising for the current draw. Thanks to everyone and keep up the great work.
Tyrone Minors Reach Ulster Minor League Final
Well done to our Senior Manager Mickey Donnelly and player Conor McKenna and the rest of the Tyrone Minor panel who defeated Cavan last weekend to reach the final of the Ulster Minor League. They play Derry in the League Final in Clones next Saturday, 28th April at 2.30pm.
Tyrone Development Squads
Well done to the following players on the various Tyrone Development squads: Under 17 – Enda McElroy and Colm Byrne; Under 14 – Matthew McGleenan and Bartley Finnegan.
Coffee Morning
There is a Coffee Morning being held this Saturday morning, 28th April in the Sports Hall. Proceeds are in aid of Paul Hughes and family. Please show your support.
Gym Circuits
Male and Female Adult Gym Circuits are being held in the Sports Hall Gym on Wednesday evenings from 8pm to 9pm. Everyone welcome.
All Ireland Scor Finals
Well done to Errigal Ciaran Novelty Act who claimed honours at the All Ireland Scor Finals in Killarney at the weekend. Well done to Omagh Ceili Dancers who also competed but were unfortunate to lose out.
