Senior
Well done to the senior team who played Ballycran in the Ulster League last Wednesday evening in Fr Connolly Park. This was a superb game of camogie from both sides with Ballycran just edging by a single point in the end. The Ulster League campaign is now complete, but the girls will continue in the Derry League, next match is against Bellaghey on 25th May, with fixtures against Coleraine and Swatragh to follow in the coming weeks.
Underage
Well done to the Under 14 team who travelled to Ballycran last weekend to participate in the Ulster Feile. Although unsuccessful the girls put in some good performances.
The Under 14 girls were back in action in the Tyrone Feile in Derrytresk on Sunday 6th May. The girls made it through to the final against Dungannon. In an exceptional match which ended in a draw, extra time was played but the sides still could not be separated. The replay will take place on Thursday evening in Derrylaughan at 6.30pm. Best wishes to Clare, Annette and the Under 14 team.
Well done to the Post Primary team who defeated Eire Og on Monday evening Carrickmore.
Training continues for underage on Saturday morning for Under 6’s, Under 8’s, Under 10’s, Post Primary and Under 14’s from 10-11, Under 16’s training from 11-12. Any underage players interested in purchasing a new helmet, or stick should contact any of the underage coaches as soon as possible. N.B. all membership should be paid. After schools camogie continues in Roan St. Patrick’s from 3-4pm every Wednesday for p3-p7.
Páirc Chormaic
The club is looking forward to the opening weekend of Páirc Cormac at the end of the month, plans for an underage blitz on Saturday 26th May and a senior match against Antrim side Portglenone on Sunday 27th May, more details to follow.
