Adult Football
Eglish Seniors and Reserves were at home to Kildress on Sunday with mixed fortunes for both sides, similar to the previous week. Our Reserves had a comfortable win, final score Eglish 1-17, Kildress 0-10. However, our Seniors were narrowly beaten by two points, final score Eglish 1-08, Kildress 0-13.
The next few fixtures to follow are as follows Sunday 8 July, home v Edendork; Saturday 28 July, away v Killyclogher; Sunday 12 August, away v Coalisland.

Under-18 (Minor) Football
Our Minors had a good win over our neighbours in Moy last week. Final score Moy 3-05, Eglish 7-12.
Under-16 Football
The Under-16’s play in the Grade 1 championship on Sunday 1 July against Dromore. The game is in Eglish at 2.00pm.
Their final league game is at home to Pomeroy on Wednesday 4 July at 7.30pm.
Under-14 Football
Our Under-14’s played Fintona on Sunday afternoon with both sides showing great skill to play out an entertaining and high scoring draw. Final score Eglish 8-10, Fintona 7-13.
Under-10’s & Under-8’s Football
Under-10’s training will now be held every Thursday evening along with the Under-6’s, Under-8’s and Under-12’s at Páirc Chormaic from 6 to 7pm. Check www.eglishgac.com for upcoming dates and venues for Go-Games Blitzes. Next Under-8’s Blitz is on Saturday 30 June, next Under-10’s Blitz is on Saturday 7 July.
Primary School Football – Cabragh Cup
The annual Cabragh Cup was held in Killeeshil recently. After all the league games were played off in the morning, St. Patrick’s Roan emerged to make the final to play St Mary’s P.S. Cabragh, both teams being undefeated throughout the day. Conditions were not good but both teams played a skillful and competitive game with Cabragh just edging the win at the finish.
Tyrone Summer Camp
Registration is on-going for the Tyrone Summer Camp which is being held in Eglish from Monday 2 July to Thursday 5 July. Visit www.eglishgac.com to download an application form and register. Children registered before Friday 29 June will gain a £5 discount.
Youth Coaching
There will be a power-point presentation by Matt McGleenan for all current football and camogie coaches or for anyone interested in working with the underage teams. This is a great opportunity for those who currently have children playing from Under-6 to Under-18 level, to become involved in their children’s sporting life and the Eglish GAA family.
Summer Camp Coaches
Over the following week there will be a number of courses run for the benefit of Coaches who have applied to Summer Camps.
Level One Child Coaching Course will be run in Holy Trinity Cookstown from 9:30am on Monday 25th June and Tuesday 26th June (Two day course). Bring both indoor and outdoor gear and a packed lunch. Note anyone looking to take Level One Course MUST have already done Foundation Course.
Child Protection Course will be run in Killyclogher at 7:30 on Wednesday 27th June. Bring Pen and Paper
Foundation Coaching Course will be run in Donaghmore from 9:30am on Thursday 28th June. Bring both indoor and outdoor gear and a packed lunch

Club Lotto
The Lotto result for Monday 18 June was as follows: winning numbers were 4, 5, 8 and 9. There were four ‘Match 3’ winners; Katie Treanor, Caroline Cotter, Cassie Daly and Una Gildernew. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 18 June, Jackpot is £5,300.
Tickets for Ulster SFC Semi-Final Tyrone v Donegal
The Ulster SFC Semi-Final between Tyrone v Donegal takes place this Saturday in Clones at 4.30pm. This game is preceded with the minor semi-final between Tyrone v Derry at 2.45pm. Tickets are only required for the Gerry Arthurs Stand. Anyone interested in a ticket should text their name to Liz Daly (07810060467) or Sheila McKenna (07769783387) before 5pm on Monday 25 June.
