All Ireland Feile
Congratulations to the Feile team who had a successful and enjoyable few days in Dublin. The Eglish team played good games against Clane (Kildare), St. Peregrine’s (Dublin) and Westport (Mayo). They were defeated in two matches and won one in their group, with the girls putting up a great performance in all their matches.
On Thursday evening the team and mentors were part of a very historic and momentous parade from Croke Park to the city centre.
On Friday the club was honoured to be awarded the accolade of the Best Presented Team at Feile 2012. This was an excellent achievement and much credit must go to the mentors Mairead Mason, Clare Jordan, Annette Jordan and Edel Barrett, and also to the parents and girls themselves who ensured they were perfectly presented. Well done to everyone involved.
Underage Camogie
There will be no Underage training for Under-6’s, Under-8’s and Under-10’s during July. Training will recommence in August with a number of blitz’s still to take place.
