There will be traffic restrictions in Lanesborough and Ballyleague on Saturday 14 July from 10.00am to 2.00pm. This will interfere with anyone travelling to the Roscommon v Tyrone All Ireland Round 2 Qualifier at Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon.
The “Two Provinces Triathlon” is taking place in these villages, and the road will be closed along the main street adjoining both villages. It is advisable that all supporters travelling to the match use an alternative route.
Below are details of the road closure notice from the Triathlon committee.
Many of those traveling from east Tyrone would go via Monaghan – Cavan – Granard – Edgeworthstown – Lanesborough – Roscommon (approx. 101 miles).
An alternative to this would be Enniskillen – Ballinamore – Mohill – Strokestown – Roscommon (approx. 108 miles).
