Adult Football
Our Senior team will play Dromore in the Tyrone Senior Championship on Sunday 19 August in Carrickmore at 7.30pm.
Our Reserve team will also play Dromore in the championship. Date, time and venue of this fixture is still to be confirmed.
Eglish’s remaining league games are against Trillick (home), Coalisland (away) and Ardboe (away). Dates and times for these fixtures are to be confirmed.
Under 18 (Minor) Football
Our Minors will play Moortown in the quarter-final of the Grade 2 Championship on Wednesday 22 August at 7.15 in Fr. Connolly Park, Eglish.
The Minors have also qualified for the knock-out stages of the Grade 2 League and they will play Beragh on Sunday 9 September. Time and venue is to be confirmed.
Under 14 Football
Our Under 14’s were in action twice last week. On Tuesday night the lads had an outstanding performance away to Greencastle in the quarter-final of the Grade 3 Championship. The final score was Greencastle 5-09 Eglish 4-16. It was a real team performance with both teams playing their hearts out around the pitch. Well done to all and thanks to the supporters who travelled to support the team. They will now play Strabane in the championship semi-final on Thursday 30 August. Time and venue is to be confirmed.
The Under-14’s also play Strabane in the Grade 3 League quarter-final, which is on Monday 13 August in Srabane at 7.30pm.

Club Lotto
The Lotto result for Monday 6 August was as follows: winning numbers were 2, 3, 9 and 22. There were five ‘Match 3’ winners: Rachael McKernan, Mairead Mason, Eamon Jordan, Joseph Barrett and Gerard Jones. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 13 August, Jackpot is £5,550.
