Underage Camogie
A blitz will take place in Derrylaughan next Saturday, 1 September at 10.00am. All Under-6, Under-8 and Under-10 players should meet at the hall at 9.00am. All players should bring suitable gear and a packed lunch. There are still helmets available, very reasonably priced – any player interested in purchasing a helmet should contact any coach or committee member.
Well done to all Under-6, Under-8 and Under-10 players who participated in the blitz held in Eglish last Saturday morning. Thanks to the visiting clubs Tullysaran and and An Port Mor who all contributed to a great morning of camogie.
Congratulations to all the young camogs from Eglish who took part in the Go-Games at half time at the county finals held in Killyman at the weekend.
Our Under-16′s had a good win over Dungannon in the quarter-final of the championship which was held at Páirc Chormaic last wednesday evening. Well done to the team and coaches.
All Ireland Camogie Final
The All Ireland Camogie Final will take place on Sunday 16 September in Croke Park. The camogie club are running a bus to the final – more information will be available next week.
Senior Camogie
Congratulations to the Senior team and mentors who were presented with the Tyrone Senior Championship for 2012 at Killyman last Sunday evening. The Senior team will now play the Armagh/Down winners in the Ulster Club Final, scheduled for October. Date, time and venue to be confirmed.
