The last competitive game this season for our club was played on Saturday when our Minor team played Stewartstown in the Grade 2 championship final at Edendork. Both sides had already met a couple of times this year; the group stage league fixture ended in a draw while Stewartstown had got the upper hand in the league play-offs.
The Eglish lads played with great heart and determination but unfortunately were beaten by a single point. Final score Eglish 1-05, Stewartstown 0-09. Well done to all players and management involved.
