The Seniors and Reserves travelled to Ardboe at the weekend bringing home three points. The Seniors started brightly, and were three points to one point up after eleven minutes with scores from Sean McKillion, Conor McKenna and Ciaran Colton. Ardboe scored two points to level the game at three each but Conor McKenna responded with a free and then added a further point. The only goal of the game came three minutes before half time with Gregory Jordan fisting to the net after a high ball in to leave the score at half time 1-5 to 0-3.
Conor McKenna opened the second half scoring with a point before Ardboe hit three in a row. Emmet McKenna finished off a good move with a point and then Ardboe continued their period of dominance and scored a further four points to tie the game on fifty minutes 0-10 to 1-7. Conor McCann immediately struck back to regain the lead but Ardboe responded. Conor McKenna kicked a massive score off the ground from around fifty yards out to edge in front again but a further Ardboe score meant both teams had to settle for a point a piece. Final Score Ardboe 0-12 Eglish 1-9.

The Reserves had a great win over Ardboe on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-5.

The Seniors play Omagh in the Quarter Finals of the Senior Championship on Sunday 10 August in Fintona at 3pm.
