Adult Football

The Seniors opened their Ulster League campaign with a respectable win over Kildress. Final score was Eglish 0-16 Kldress 0-11. Next up is Ballinderry, matched scheduled for Sunday in Ballinderry at 12.00noon. There will be a Night at the Races in the Clubrooms on Friday 19th, First race is at 9.30pm. Proceeds will go towards replenishing the players’ injury fund.

Youth Football

Under 14 football training has now commenced, times are Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45pm and 10.45 on Saturday mornings. Minor training also continues on Mondays and Thursdays at 7.30. FUNdamentals training, for 4 to 8 year olds, continues on Thursday evening at 6.15pm in the sports hall and is followed immediately by Under 10 training at 7.30pm.

Culture

Tráth na gCeist team will took part Scór County final at the weekend, unfortunately their County title was relinquished to a very strong Kildress team. Just a reminder that Irish languages classes for primary school children continue on Monday evenings, at 6.30pm, in the Clubrooms. Everyone please note that Membership is new due, rate are the same as last year with full adult Membership £30, Senior Citizen £10, Fulltime Students and Youth £10.

Remember you may never miss the lotto again. You can now play the Club Lotto online. The link is on the club website eglishgac.com, you can play for 3, 6 or 12 months at a time. Mark Sat 9th April in your calendar for the Clubs’ Gal Ball. Tickets are available form Committee members.
