Football Notes 21 March

Adult Football

There was no Senior action at the weekend. With the Ulster completed the focus now turns to the League, with the fixtures being released at the weekend, they can be found at tyronegaa.ie. League currently scheduled to commence on the weekend of 10th April.

Youth Football

The Under 14 team opened their season on Saturday, travelling to Donaghmore and coming home with the points, Final score Donaghmore 2-06 Eglish 8-16. Action continues at full pace this week as we host Dungannon on Wednesday at 7.00 in Pairc Chormaic. This is followed on Saturday with another home game, the visitors will be Edendork, game at 1.00pm.

On Sunday the Minor team travelled to Kildress for their third League game. Unfortunately, despite a very spirited performance, we came out on the wrong side of a five point margin, Kildress 3-14 Eglish 1-15. Next up are Clonoe on Tuesday 29th at 6.45pm in Fr Connolly Park.

Everyone please note that Membership is new due, rates are the same as last year with Full adult Membership £30, Senior Citizen £10, Fulltime Students and Youth £10. Family membership (husband wife and all children under 18) is £80. Membership can be paid this Sunday between 11.30 and 12.30 at the clubrooms, or direct to club registrar Canice Murtagh at any time.
