Football Notes 9th May

Adult Football

Augher came Fr Connolly Park on Sunday for senior and reserve league fixtures. The only high point of the day was the sunshine, as the visitors made their homeward journey with two wins. Results Senior Eglish 0-11 Augher 0-15, Reserve Eglish 1-10 Augher 4-15. The All County League continues this coming Sunday with a home fixture against Greencastle, Reserve 2.15, Senior 3.45.

Youth Football

The Under 14 Team were in action on Friday evening in their League quarter final against Fintona. A strong first half performance by the visitors set them up for what was a convincing victory, result Eglish 2-06 Fintona 8-15. Their next game will be in the Championship. Fintona will once again come to Eglish for the first round game on Saturday, throw in 1.00pm in Fr Connolly Park.

Under 6, 8 & 10 Football continues on Thursday evening at 6pm in Fr Connolly Park. There are number of games this week, so keep an eye on the Whatsapp for updates.
