Senior Training
Preseason training commenced last Thursday and will continue week in the gym with Michelle McHugh, £3 per night.
Underage Training
Underage training continues on Thursday evening’s 5.45 – 6.45pm and Saturday’s, 4-5pm; both in Pairc Cormac. This training is for post primary players right up to U18s. Please always take boots and trainers and come appropriately dressed for the weather.
“Miss” Eglish
Less than a fortnight until our very own MR, oops, I mean MISS Eglish is decided!
Tickets are£10 and available from any of the senior camogs. Bar and Disco to late, restricted to over 14s!
Also, a head’s up for all the ladies in the parish needing any beauty appointments, book soon, as we have it on good authority that our finalists have block booked hours in the local beauty salons!
We spoke to Daly Beauty proprietor, Leanne, over the weekend and this is what she had to say, “The next week and half is going to be crazy for me, I’m starting at dawn and have to work right into the middle of the night! I’ve already had to specially hire out a hedge cutter from JB Plant to defuzz their legs before I even get near them with a bit of wax! And on Saturday, after breaking three pairs of scissors, eight nail files and nearly losing an eye, I had run to Jim Daly’s and borrow a grinder and face mask when one of the contestants was booked in for a pedicure! It’s so surprising how badly groomed some of the finalists are, if you didn’t know better, you’d almost think they were men!!”
