Football Club Notes

Seniors

The Seniors and Reserves both suffered opening day defeats away to Dromore. The Seniors lost out by five points on a scoreline of 2-7 to 0-8. The Reserves were beaten by strong Dromore side 2-15 to 0-9. The Seniors and Reserves are at home to Strabane on Saturday in Pairc Chormaic, Reserve game 3 30pm and Senior 5pm.

Minors

The Minors travelled to Moy on Wednesday evening and unfortunately lost out on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-6. The Minors are at home to Dungannon on Wednesday 23 April at 7pm.

U14s

The U14s travel to Rock on Monday 21 April, throw-in time 6 45pm.

River Bank Dance Festival

After the success of the festival last year the River Bank Dance Festival returns this year bigger and better. The festival events this year will begin with Cormac 10k Run and 5k family run/walk on Saturday 17 May. The following Thursday, 22 May the search begins for Eglishs Newest Model takes place. On Saturday 24 May More Power to Your Elbow will rock the marquee with their traditional and electric anthems, followed by the popular return of Derek Ryan on Sunday 25 May. The festival will come to a close on Saturday 31 May with a Gala Banquet celebrating 50 years of success on Fr Connolly Park.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Maria Mohan & the Clann Mc Caul school of dancing who were very successful at the World Championships in London especially 10 year old local lad Shane Mc Gready who was placed 16th in the World. A great achievement as this was his first time taking part.

CPR and Defibrillator Training

There is a CPR & Defibrillator training on Tuesday 29 April in committee rooms – cost £10.

Club Lotto

The Lotto No’s for Monday 14 April were 14,16,22,23. There were three match three winners, M McCann Dungannon, R Jordan and E Donaghy. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 28 April, Jackpot is £2,350.
