Senior Football

The Seniors and Reserves had mixed fortunes in the opening round of the league at the weekend. The Reserves played  out a highly entertaining game with Coalisland  with the game looking like it was destined for a draw but a last minute point sealed the win for Eglish on a scoreline of Eglish 0-11 Coalisland 1-7.

The Senior game was dominated by Coalisland who led 0-7 to 0-3 and half time and continued their form in the second half to win on a scoreline of Eglish 1-5 Coalisland 1-16.

The Seniors and Reserves travel to Augher this Sunday, 19 April, Reserve game 4:30pm and Senior game 6pm.

Minors

The Minors were beaten by Killeeshil last week on a scoreline of Killeeshil 2-14 Eglish 2-10. The Minors are at home to Gael Naomh Padraig on Tuesday 21 April at 7pm.

U14s

The U14s are at home to neighbours Killeeshil on Saturday 18 April at 11am.

Scór Sinsear

Our Quiz team compromising of Gerard Jones, Donal McAnallen, Richard Mason and Cathal Daly travel south to the Citywest Hotel Dublin on Saturday 25 April in search of All-Ireland glory in Trath na gCeist. The club would like to wish them all the very best of luck and also to Omagh St Enda’s who are represented in Rince Foirne and Léiríu.

Tyrone Summer Camp

The Tyrone Summer Camp will run in Eglish this year from the Monday 6 July to Thursday 9 July. Due to the number of camps running throughout the county coaches are required to deliver the coaching programme. To be eligible to coach at the Tyrone Summer Camps all coaches must have completed a GAA Foundation Coaching Award and Child Protection training, are vetted through Tyrone GAA, are actively coaching within their own club and lastly are prepared  to attend the Summer Camp coaches training sessions. Campa Chormaic

Campa Chormaic have just recently launched a new website. You can now register online for the upcoming camp which takes in Eglish between 20th – 24th July at www.campachormaic.com. Deadline for registration is 31 April.

Congratulations

Well done to Ethan Jordan and Seamus Muldoon who were selected on the Tyrone academy U15 and U16 panels respectively.

Tyrone U21s

Best of luck to Colm Byrne who is on the Tyrone U21 panel and Lorcan Martin who is in the backroom team, on Saturday18 April in the All Ireland Semi-Final against Roscommon in Maverick Park, Sligo.

Lotto

The Lotto No’s for Monday 13 April were 13,15,20,23. There was one match three winner, Frances Daly. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 20 April 2015, Jackpot is £1,750.

Sympathy

Eglish St Patrick’s GAC extends its deepest sympathy to our Chairman Kieran Hagan and  his family on the passing of his father Pat Hagan.
