EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S G.A.C. CLUB NOTES

Adult Football

Our Senior team has three games left to play in the Tyrone Division 1 League against Omagh (away), Derrylaughan (away) and Greencastle (away).  Due to Tyrone’s games in the All Ireland Qualifiers the dates for these games have been subject to change.  Confirmation of fixtures will be announced on our club website www.eglishgfc.com and in the local papers.

Minor Football

Details of re-fixture of the Grade 1 Minor Football League quarter-final between Eglish and Dromore are to be confirmed later this week.

Under 16 Football

Our Under 16’s will play Donaghmore at home on Thursday 21stJuly against at 7.30pm.  This will be followed by another home game against Coalisland on Friday 29th July.

Under 12 Football

The Under 12’s next match in the Go Games competition is at home to Dungannon on Monday 25thJuly at 7.00pm followed by another home game against Pomeroy on Monday 1st August at 7.00pm.

Under 8 Go Games Football

The next round of Under 8 Go Games is in Ardboe this Saturday, 23rdJuly.  All team managers, helpers and players are to be at Ardboe for 10.00am.  The next Under 8 Go Games Blitz will be held on Saturday 13th August, venue to be confirmed.

Campa Chormaic

The annual Campa Chormaic has began in Eglish for 2011 and will run from Monday 18th July to Friday 29thJuly.  Boys and girls between the ages of nine and 16 are taking part in Irish language classes in the mornings at the Brantry Bard while in the evenings they are playing Gaelic games at Fr. Connolly Park in Eglish.

Tyrone Under 14 School of Excellence

Well done to Kevin Muldoon and Kevin McConnell who are currently training with the Tyrone Under 14 School of Excellence.

All Ireland Qualifier Round 3 Tyrone v Armagh Ticket Information

Anyone who wishes to have their name included for a ticket for the Tyrone v Armagh Round 3 Qualifier in Omagh this Saturday should text their name to either Sheila McKenna (07769783387) or Kieran Hagan (07887928419) before 1.00pm on Tuesday 19th July.  Please note, names for tickets can only be received in the form of a text to either of these numbers.

Club Lotto

Winning Lotto numbers for Monday 4thJuly were 2, 7, 21 and 22.  There were four Match 3 winners: Leanne Daly, Ciaran Daly, Niall Daly and Joseph Barrett.  The next Lotto will be drawn on Monday 25th July.  Lotto Jackpot is £3,050.

Sympathy

The club extends to its sympathy to the Murtagh family (Eglish and Rock), the Toye Family (Maghery) and the McGuigan family on their recent bereavements.

Brantry Fleadh

There is a Fleadh being held at the Brantry Bard over the weekend of Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August.  This promises to be a great weekend of entertainment.  Watch out in local press for more details to follow.
