EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S G.A.C. CLUB NOTES

Adult Football

Our last remaining league game takes place this Saturday 3rd September away to Derrylaughan.  Reserves at 2.15pm and Seniors at 3.45pm.

 The Reserves play Moortown in the championship on Monday 5th September in Moortown at 7pm.

Under 21 Football

Training for all members of the Under 21 panel continues.  All players are asked to stay in contact with management for training arrangements.

Under 16 Football

Eglish will play Ardboe in the First Round of the Grade 1 Under 16 Championship on Wednesday 31st August at 7pm in Fr. Connolly Park.  Then on Sunday 5th September our Under 16’s play Omagh in a league play-off at 6.15pm.

Under 13 Football

The Under 13 League begins on Saturday 3rdSeptember.  Eglish will play Moy in Fr. Connolly Park in their first game.  This will be followed by: Saturday 10thSeptember away to Donaghmore; Saturday 17thSeptember away to Cookstown; Saturday 24thSeptember home to Derrylaughan.  Throw in for all games are at 5pm.

Under 10 Go Games Football

There is an Under 10 Go Games Blitz this Saturday, 3rd September, in Eglish, commencing at 9.15am.  All help will be appreciated.  There is also an Under 10 Tournament in Moy on Saturday 10th September.

Ulster Club Camogie Championship

Our Camogie counterparts are participating in the First Round of the Ulster Club Championship.  They play the Down champions, Ballycran or Clonduff, in Fr. Connolly Park on Sunday 4th September at 12.30pm.  We would encourage as many as possible to come out to cheer on the girls.

Cormac Trust 10K 2011

In 2009 The Cormac Trust held a very successful 10K & Fun Run with over 300 participants having completed the courses. And we are pleased to announce another 10K and Fun Run this year, on Saturday 3rd Sept, again with a similar format, based around Eglish Parish and starting in Eglish village, at 1pm.

This year a contribution from the moneys raised will also be given to the Michaela Foundation

Details of application forms can be accessed on www.thecormactrust.com or contact The Cormac Trust offices on 028 3754 7721 or e-mail admin@thecormactruct.com.  Registration on the day will take place from 10am at the Parochial Hall in Eglish (opposite St Patrick’s GFC Eglish).

Entry for either race is £10.  All participants get a free goody bag which includes a themed T-Shirt for the race.

Club Lotto

The Lotto result for Monday 22nd August is as follows: winning numbers were 10, 14, 15 and 23.  There were four ‘Match 3’ winners: Liz Daly, Barry Quinn, Geraldine Bigley and S. McMenemy.    Lotto Jackpot for Monday 29th August is £3,300.

Gym Circuits

Male and Female Adult Gym Circuits are being held in the Sports Hall Gym on Wednesday evenings from 7.45pm to 9pm and on Sunday mornings.  Everyone welcome.  There are also Gym Sessions for Under 12′s and Under 14′s on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.  For further details contact Matt McGleenan on 07717712177.
