Senior Football
The Seniors and Reserves travelled to Greencastle at the weekend and both recorded encouraging wins. A strong second half display from the Reserves saw them secure a five point win on a scoreline of Eglish 2-14 to Greencastle 1-12. The Seniors had a nice lead at half time, going in at the break 2-07 to 0-7, aided by goals from Peter McCann, Conor McCann and points from Emmet McKenna, Conall McNulty and Eugene Daly. Eglish’s good form continued in the second half with points coming from the boot of Peter McCann, Johnny Jordan and Ciaran Colton. Greencastle managed to score a goal towards the end but it was damage limitation. Final Score Eglish 2-15 Greencastle 1-10.

The Seniors and Reserves make the short trip to Moy on Sunday 6 September, Reserve game 4:30pm and Senior game 6pm.
U16s
The U16s play Drumquin in the Grade 3 League Quarter Final on Saturday 5 September in Eglish at 1pm
U13s
The U13s play Moy on Friday 4 September in Eglish at 6:45pm.
Youth Training
Youth training continues for U6s to U12s every Thursday evening from 6:15pm to 7:15pm. All children must wear a gumshield and all under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Conor McKenna on making his AFL debut for Essendon at the weekend scoring his first goal inside the first five minutes.

The Lotto No’s for Monday 24 August were 8,14,17,19. There was one match three winner; Mick Coyle. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 31 August 2015, Jackpot is £2,550.
Sympathy
Eglish St Patrick’s GAC extends its deepest sympathy to the family of Jim O’Neill (Moy) who was a former Eglish player and the O’Neill family (Brockagh) on their recent bereavement.
