EGLISH ST. PATRICK’S G.A.C. CLUB NOTES

Club Football

With the exit of our Under 21 side form the championship last weekend there is no more competitive football for any of our underage or adult sides until Spring 2012.

Under 6 & Under 8 Training

All parents of Under 6 and Under 8 children are asked to attend a short meeting on Monday 14th November starting at 7PM SHARP in the sports hall.  If you would like your child to train with these teams for the 2012 season it is VITAL that you attend this meeting.  Your child should have received a letter through both Roan and Derrylatinee schools about this meeting.  For more information feel free to contact Seán Murtagh on the number provided in the letter.

Annual Youth Presentation

The Annual Youth Presentation will take place on Friday 2nd December.  With our underage sides competing in Grade 1 at all levels this is a chance for all underage players, coaches and parents to come together to acknowledge the hard work put into the last year.  Further details will follow.

An Eaglais le Chéile

Can anyone with outstanding contributions for 2011 to An Eaglais le Chéile contact Club Treasurer Liz Daly.

Club Lotto

The Lotto result for Monday 7th November is as follows: winning numbers were 1, 6, 8, and 22.  There were two ‘Match 3’ winners: Deirdre Quinn and Gertie Murtagh.  Lotto Jackpot for Monday 14th November is £3,850.

Club Gear

Anyone wishing to purchase new club gear before Christmas should contact Liz Daly (02837548692).

2001/2012 Tyrone Coach Education Programme

The Tyrone GAA Board is running various coach education programmes during November through to March.  These include Child Protection Course, Foundation Award Course, Level 1 Youth and Adults.  Details on dates and venues can be viewed in the news section of our club website www.eglishgfc.com.

Peter Canavan Workshop

A new Gaelic football workshop is being delivered by Peter Canavan.  The workshop is called “Kicking and shooting for scores” and is being held in the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena (MUSA) in Cookstown on Wednesday 23rd November at 7.30pm.  This free outdoor observation course is open to all coaches.  For more information contact MUSA on 028 8676 7135.
