Underage Presentation Night
The Underage Presentation Night for 2011 will take place on Friday 9th December in the Crannon Inn at 8pm. All Post Primary, Under 14 and Under 16 players are invited to attend with parents and family. The underage awards for these teams will be presented on the night by Senior Manager Jim McCormick. Admission is £5 for supper, and the presentations will be followed by a disco.
Annual Bazaar & Bingo
The Annual Bazaar and Bingo will take place on Friday 25th November in the Parochial Hall at 8pm sharp. There will be lots of great prizes and the annual raffle will also take place. Tickets are on sale and are available from any senior member.
Underage Training
Underage training for Under 6′s, Under 8′s and Under 10′s will recommence on Monday’s at 7pm sharp in the Sports Hall. This training is known as the “Gaelic Start & Fundamentals” programme and is aimed at girls and boys between 4 – 9 years. The aim of this programme is to help coaches and parents plan and implement an effective and efficient coaching programme for children of all abilities. The programme has been designed so that it can be used by children, parents and non-coaching personnel. It supports the development stages of all children regardless of ability. It offers a variety of progressive, challenging and fun activities – warm ups, games and skills, and involves activities that can be set up quickly and easily.
