Camogie Club Notes – 26/03/2012

Senior Team

The senior season began on Sunday with The Patricia Bateson Ulster Memorial Tournament in Ballinderry. Well done to the girls who won the following games Eglish 3-11 Loughiel0-05, Eglish 3-07 Balinascreen 0-02. The Semi & Final will take place on Easter Monday. The seniors play Derrylaughan on Wednesday night in Eglish at 6.45 in the Tyrone league.

Underage

The fundamentals programme has finished on Monday evenings.  Training for post primary and U14 has commenced on Saturday morning from 10-11.  Training for U10, U8 U6 will commence after Easter.

Congratulations to the Post Primary team who beat Derrylaughan on Sunday morning in their first league match.  The U16 play Dungannon in the opening league match on Friday evening. The first U14 match of the season will be at home against Eire Og on 2nd April.

Best Wishes to Frances Bigley who is managing Tyrone minors this Tuesday in Greencastle Tyrone V Armagh.

Variety Concert

The annual variety concert took place in the parochial hall last Friday, well done to everyone who helped organise and all the artists who participated on the night.

Croagh Patrick Challenge

A large number of senior members and players are taking part in the Croagh Patrick challenge on Saturday 14th April.  This is a fundraising venture in conjunction with the Tyrone County Board; the girls will be looking for sponsorship to complete the climb with all funds for both club and county.

Membership

Membership is now due and any outstanding should be paid as soon as possible.  Senior players £25, non playing members and students £15, and under 18 £10.
