Féile
Congratulations to our Under 14 team who won the Tyrone Camogie Féile Final. They will represent Tyrone in the All Ireland Féile which is being hosted by Dublin this year. The girls had played an entertaining draw against Dungannon in the final the previous week the girls were successful in the replay last Thursday evening in Derrylaughan. Well done to the coaches of the girls – Clare Jordan and Annette Jordan.
The Under 14 team, coaches and parents will travel to Dublin for the All Ireland Féile weekend on 5th, 6th 7th July. A club in Dublin will host the girls and everyone is really looking forward to representing Tyrone in the finals.
Underage
A number of coaches and Under 14 players from the club attended a very informative coaching course on Saturday morning in Killyclogher delivered by the Paudie Butler and Liam Sheedy from Tipperary and organised by Tyrone GAA.
Training continues for underage teams on Saturday morning: Under 6’s, 8’s, 10’s, Post Primary and Under 14’s from 10-11; Under 16’s from 11-12. Any underage players interested in purchasing a new helmet or stick should contact any of the underage coaches as soon as possible. All membership should be paid.
After Schools Camogie continues in Roan St. Patrick’s from 3-4pm every Wednesday for Primary 3 to Primary 7. The club is hosting a Go Games Blitz on Saturday 26th May with a number of local clubs taking part. Registration will take place at 8.45 am with first matches beginning at 9am.
Páirc Chormaic
The club is looking forward to the opening weekend of Páirc Chormaic at the end of the month. The Go Games Blitz mentioned above is part of the celebrations that weekend, while our Senior team will play Antrim side Portglenone on Sunday 27th May. For more details check www.eglishgac.com.
