Campa Chormaic 2012 – another successful year!

The committee of Campa Chormaic would like to thank all the parents and children who attended the Camp this year. Campa Chormaic has now completed its eighth year and the model developed in Eglish has now been replicated in four other counties with more counties in Ulster due to establish Campa Chormaic in the following years. This year saw over 800 children attend Campa Chormaic in Tyrone, Down, Derry and Antrim. The committee of Campa Chormaic is indebted to the people of Eglish who year on year support the Camp and the committee of An Eaglais Naomh Pádraig and the Brantry Bard for the continued use of their facilities. This year in order to raise funds for Campa Chormaic the 2012 jersey will be available to purchase for a limited time from the following website:

During this year’s camp, Méabh McGleenan was awarded the Michaela Harte award and Kevin McConnell was awarded the Paddy McIntosh award.
