Fixture: Eglish v Carrickmore
Score: 0-8 to 0-8
Eglish remain unbeaten in the last five games and recorded their third consecutive draw. The game was preceded by heavy downpour along with thunder and lightning which made for extremely slippery underfoot conditions.
The visiting team made the better start in the conditions scoring the first two points, but two Conor McKenna frees helped Eglish settle into the game. From then on it was point for point up until half time as there was never any more than a point separating the teams. Two well worked scores coming from Gregory Jordan and Emmet McKenna along with a point from Conor McCann saw the teams go in level at half time.
Half time: Eglish 0-5 Carrickmore 0-5
Eglish dominated the second half up until the 53rd minute and lead by three (0-8 to 0-5) with scores coming from frees thanks to Sean McKillion and Conor McKenna (0-2). Carrickmore completely took over though for the final seven minutes and added three scores in that time to draw the game.
