U18
Well done to the minors on their win over Dungannon on Friday night. A tough game throughout with both sides being equally matched, the Eglish girls battled very hard and came away with a well-deserved 2 point win.
Best wishes to the girls and their management when they take on Eire Og this Saturday in Eglish at 6pm in the Championship semifinal. Please come along and support this talented bunch of players.
U16
The U16s suffered their first league defeat last Tuesday when Edendork had a strong win over them.
U14
The U14 championship final date is still to be confirmed. Until then, training will continue. Players will receive a text with details of training days and times.
Tiny Tots
Training continues for the U6, U8 and U10s on Saturday mornings at 10am – 11am. With the large numbers of young children attending, the club would be very grateful if any parents could stay and lend a hand during this hour.
Mr & Mrs
The Camogie Club wishes to extend their warmest thanks to everyone who helped make last Friday night a great success. Special thanks to the 10 men who willing volunteered their legs for the waxing, the six couples who took part on the night, the football club for the use of the hall and of course our comperes for the evening, Martin Daly and Mark-Martha Gallagher.
Congratulations
The club extends belated congratulations to our very own senior player Denise Galvin who represented Ulster and recently won the All Ireland Ladies Road Bowls!
Also congratulations to senior player Claire and husband Joe Daly on the recent birth of their little girl, Nora.
Best Wishes
Finally the Camogie club sends their best wishes to the senior footballers when they take on Greencastle this Friday night in Omagh in the first round of the championship.
