This Sunday the dreams of three young Eglish players become reality, as they reach the pinnacle of their short football career to date, in competing in the All Ireland Minor Final. Under the guidance of Mickey Donnelly, this minor team has exceeded everyone’s expectations, and have played some tremendous football to make it to the final where they face a very good Mayo team.
We wish Conor McKenna, Colm Byrne, Enda McElroy and Kelley Fay who is involved in the backroom team all the very best on Sunday. Lets hope they can bring home the Tom Markham Cup for the ninth time on Sunday!
