Seniors and Reserves

The Seniors and Reserves both suffered defeat at the hands of Donaghmore at the weekend. In the Senior game Donaghmore lead by a point at half time in a half were scores were hard to come by, half time score 0-4 to 0-3, with Eglish scores coming from the boot of Conal McNulty, Ciaran Colton and Conor McCann. Eglish started brightly after the restart and lead for the first time eight minutes into the second half, Gregory Jordan and Damien Jordan helping to push Eglish one point in front at 0-5 to 0-4, but Donaghmore struck immediately after with a goal and added a further four points to leave Eglish with a mountain to climb. Eglish pushed in the final ten minutes but were only able to add three points coming from Colm Byrne, Gregory Jordan and Conor McCann with Donaghmore adding two points in that time to leave full time score 1-10 to 0-8.

The Reserves were beaten on a scoreline of Donaghmore 0-11 Eglish 0-8.

The Seniors are at home to Moortown on Saturday, throw-in 5:30pm.

U16

The U16s are in Championship action this Sunday evening against Killeeshil at 6pm in Killeeshil and are then in league action on Tuesday 16 September at home to Ardboe at 6:30pm.

U13

U13s had a good win over Killeeshil at the weekend winning on a scoreline of 8-10 to 4-6. The U13s travel to Donaghmore this Friday evening, throw-in time 6:45pm.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Gerard and Catherine Jones on the birth of their baby girl and also to Kieran and Alicia Jordan on the birth of their baby boy.

Club Lotto

The Lotto No’s for Monday 8 September were 3,9,17,23. There were five match three winners, Kathleen Daly(EBM), Maureen Ogle, Bernie McCann, Caolan Daly and Fergal Quinn. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 15 September, Jackpot is £3,200.
