Football Club Notes

U14s

The U14s had a big win over Ardboe at the weekend. The U14s are away to Pomeroy this Saturday with a 1pm throw-in.

Minors

The minors also had a good win at the weekend defeating Cookstown on a scoreline of 4-20 to 2-5. The minors next league game is away to Kildress on Tuesday 1 April at 6:30pm.

Seniors

The Tyrone ACL Fixtures were released last week. The Seniors commence their league campaign on Sunday 13April away to Dromore providing Tyrone fail to make the National League Semi-Finals. If Tyrone progress to Semi-Finals the league won’t commence until the following Saturday the 19 April at home to Strabane. A full list of fixtures and details can be found on our website.

U6s,U8s and U10 Training

This year’s Thursday evening coaching for U6s, U8s and U10s at Páirc Chormaic will commence on April 3 at 6.15pm. Please note that all youth are expected to wear gum shields when playing Gaelic football during coaching and games.  This rule was introduced on January 1st 2013.  (See the Eglish and Tyrone GAA web sites for more detail http://www.eglishgac.com/). Under 6 coaching will hold the same theme as the Gaelic Start programme whereby a parent (or guardian) must attend and take part in the coaching sessions.  Parents will NOT be permitted to drop children off for this age group.

Hard Luck

Hard luck to our Tyrone U21s Phillip Barker, Conor McKenna and Aaron Daly and the Tyrone team who fell to a strong Cavan side in the Under 21 Ulster Championship last week.

Club Membership

This weekend provides the last opportunity to pay club membership for 2014. Membership costs are as follows: Adults £30; Senior Citizens £10; Student £10; Youth £10. Membership can be paid for in the Sports Hall following Sunday morning mass.

Club Lotto

The Lotto No’s for Monday 24 March were 1,9,22,23. There was one match three winner, Anne McKenna. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 31 March, Jackpot is £2,200.
