Ulster Club Round Robin

This Sunday, Eglish take on Madden in the first round of the Ulster Club. A win against Madden will secure Eglish a place in the Ulster Final.

Game is in Father Connelly Park, throw in at 12.45pm. Please come and support the seniors in what should be an entertaining game.

U18 Championship Final

Commiserations to the minor side and management who narrowly lost out to a strong Edendork team last Sunday. In windy conditions, both teams took to the field and put on a tremendous show for the large number of supporters. At half time, Eglish were only two points behind. The girls in green and black battled hard in the second half, a Jordan Fay goal resulting in them taking the lead. But Edendork never gave up and in the last five minutes exerted their experience and pulled away with some excellent scores. Final score; 2-05 to 3-07.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Maria Jordan and Maeve McGleenan who were nominated for the Team Talk Award in their respective categories of Senior Camogie Player of the Year and Young Camogie Player of the Year. Best of luck girls!
