Night of Nostalgia
On 1st November Eglish GFC will be celebrating 50 years since Fr. Connolly Park opened with a ‘Night of Nostalgia’ in Eglish GAC Hall @ 8.30pm. Donal McAnallen, local historian, will give a short talk on how both the football and camogie clubs have evolved through this period. Also present on the night will be the 1963 & 1964 committees as well as a selection of Tyrone players who played Armagh at the official opening. These include our own Terry Daly, who played at full back as well as Art McCrory, Jody O’Neill, Patsy Forbes and Mick Donaghy.
A presentation will be made to the Senior and Reserve Players of the Year as well as Club Person of the Year.
Refreshments will be served on the night.
Finally Teamtalk will broadcast the ‘Night of Nostalgia’ live on the internet.

Santa comes to Eglish and Christmas fayre
Bring your children along on either Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th between 1 and 6pm to visit Santa at our grotto. Mrs Claus and her elves will greet your child/children before getting a photo with Santa and post their letters.

In addition to Santas Grotto on Sunday 30th November the club will be hosting a Cross Community Christmas Fayre with approx 30 local crafters/exhibitors in the hall showing off their skills and goods. This will give you a chance to buy some unique Christmas gifts and support our local people.
