Senior Camogie
The first senior Ulster League game took place last Wednesday in Coleraine with Eoghan Rua winning convincingly; 2-14 ; 1-07.
On Sunday, Eoghan Rua travelled to Eglish for the first Derry League game. The girls put on an impressive display in very tough conditions, but the Derry team again proved too strong, winning well in the end, 3-11 ; 3.03.
The next Derry league game takes place on Wednesday 17th April at 7.30pm, away to Lavey. All girls to meet at the pitch for 5.45pm.
Congratulations
Congratulations to our two new senior captains, Siobhan Hughes and Ciara McGready. An honour very well deserved by both girls.
Post Primary
Congratulations again to the Post Primary team who continued their winning ways in the league by beating Derrytresk on Monday evening. Another excellent team performance, well done!
Good luck is extended to all the post primary players and management when they play Dungannon in the preliminary round of the Championship on Monday 15th April at 6.15pm in the Donaghmore Road Playing Fields, all support welcome!
Post primary league continues on Monday 22nd April when the girls are away to Omagh. Again good luck to all involved – let’s keep the winning streak going!
Youth Training
Minor and U16 training continues on Tuesdays, 6pm – 7.15pm, and on Saturdays, 5.30pm – 6.45pm.
U14 and Post Primary training continues on Saturdays, 10am – 11.30am.
Tiny Tots, (U6, U8, U10), training continues on Saturday mornings, 10am – 11am. Any parents that can stay and help would be greatly appreciated.
This Saturday, 20th April, there will be a short meeting for all of the parents of the U6, U8 & U10 age group at 10am. Please make yourself available at the time for approximately 10mins.
Go Games
The first Go Games Blitz will take place in Edendork next Saturday 27th April. More details to follow next week.
