Senior Camogie
The seniors travelled to Lavey last Wednesday for the second fixture in the Derry league. A tough encounter in extremely windy conditions but unfortunately the girls lost out by a late goal, final score 4-07 ; 2-10.
This week the girls continue their Ulster League campaign when they play Castledawson in Garvaghey on Wednesday night for at 7.15pm. Please meet in Eglish at 7.10pm.
The Derry league continues on Friday, at home to Ballinascreen. Time of game to be confirmed.
Post Primary
The post primary team continued their unbeaten run when they were victorious against Dungannon in the preliminary round of the Championship last Monday. In an enthralling game that went to extra time, the girls worked tirelessly and deservedly won on a score line of 5-06 ; 4.05. Congratulations to all the players and management on a terrific performance and result.
The league continues with the girls away to Fr. Shields, Greencastle on Monday 29th April.
U14
The U14 league gets underway this Friday night against Dungannon. The game takes place in Dungannon Playing Fields at 6.30pm. This should be another tough game against strong opposition and all support is greatly appreciated. All players to be at Eglish pitch for 5.45pm.
Feile
This year’s Tyrone Feile tournament takes place on Sunday 5th May in the new Garvaghey complex from 10am-2pm. All U14 players are asked to keep this date free.
Youth Training
Minor and U16 training continues on Tuesdays, 6pm – 7.15pm, and on Saturdays, 5.30pm – 6.45pm.
U14 and Post Primary training continues on Saturdays, 10am – 11.30am.
Go Games
The first Go Games Blitz will take place in Edendork this Saturday 27th April from 10am – 12pm . All players to be at the pitch for 9.10am and will be home again at 12.40pm. Remember to bring a packed lunch and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Also each girl to brig £1 to cover the cost of the bus.
