Seniors
The Seniors had a good win over Donaghmore at the weekend on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-7. Eglish playing with the breeze in the first half dominated possession and probably should have been further ahead at the break. Eglish went in at the break two points up 0-5 to 0-2 with points from Brendan Donnelly, Michael Jordan and Peter McCann. The second half saw Donaghmore narrow the gap to a single point 0-7 to 0-6 and the final minutes were frantic but the Eglish defence held strong sealing the victory with scores from Brendan Donnelly and Ciaran Colton.
The Reserves were beaten by Donaghmore on a scoreline of 0-5 to 2-16.
Both Seniors and Reserves will return to Division one action on Sunday 2 June with an away trip to Augher.
