Well done to the Eglish u-12 team who where defeated by Carrickmore team in the A final of the Martin Mc Caughey tournament.On their path to the final they won their group defeating donaghmore – Galbally and kildress.
They defeated Scotstown in the quarter final after extra time in a mighty game before seeing off another Monaghan team Truagh in the semi final by a point. The team played there shirts off in the final however Carrickmore came good in the last 5 minutes to take the cup.
Well done to all players and thanks to the coaches and parents that came to support the team.
