Senior Camogie
The seniors travelled to Swatragh on Sunday evening to continue their efforts in the Derry League. From the initial throw in it was clear to see that Swatragh were very much up for the game and as a result lead by 4 at half time. Early into the second half, Eglish found themselves further behind when Swatragh full forward fired a goal into the back of the net. However the girls in black and green did not lie down, and came back with two impressive goals and a series of points and clenched a draw at full time. Terrific performance from all involved – well done!
This week the girls play Liatroim in a challenge on Wednesday night at 8.30pm in Newry. Please be at the pitch and ready to leave at 7pm.
U18
The minors took on Derrylaughan on Monday evening in their second league game of the year and recorded another impressive victory. A great display of camogie on show from a promising young team – well done!
U16
Well done to the U16s who had a strong win against Eire Og on Sunday morning. Many thanks also to the younger players who came along and played due to some of the older girls being away on holidays.
The girls are out again against Eire Og in the Championship this Friday night in Eglish at 7pm. All support is welcome. Good luck to all the players and the management.

Next Monday 5th August, they take on Moortown again in the championship semi-final. Game in Eglish at 7.30pm. Please come out and show your support for the girls.
