Seniors
The Seniors play Donaghmore in the first round of the Senior Championship this evening (Friday) in Edendork, throw-in time 6:45pm.
U14s
The U14s have had a great week, pushing through to the semi-final of the league and championship at the expense of Drumragh in the quarter-finals of both competitions. The U14s beat Drumragh in a highly entertaining game Saturday past on a scoreline of 10-8 to 8-7 to see them into the league semi-finals. They also had to face Drumragh in the Championship on Wednesday night putting in another good performance to reach the next round.
River Bank Dance Festival
The River Bank Festival was a huge success at the weekend. In what was very entertaining weekend, the fashion show proved to be a big hit and was followed up with More Power To Your Elbow and Derek Ryan who both had the crowds on their feet. A special word of thanks to all those who freely volunteered their time to work at the Festival over the weekend, we couldn’t have done it without you. It was very much appreciated.
The Cube
This Saturday night, 31 May, the popular ITV game show ‘The Cube’ comes to Eglish. Contestants will be drawn from the audience and given the opportunity to take on ‘The Cube’. The event will take place in the Sports Hall on Saturday night at 8pm and admission is £5. Everyone is welcome and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Club Lotto
The Lotto No’s for Monday 26 May were 3,6,16,22. There were five match three winners, Roisin Jordan, Kathleen Daly, Kate McVeigh, Gael Bradley and Tess Daly. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 2 June, Jackpot is £2,600.
