Congratulations!
Congratulations to the victorious St Catherine’s team who overcame St Marks last Friday to secure the Ulster title and advance into the All Ireland competition. Well done to the Eglish girls, Michelle McGready and Catherine Muldoon, and to Leanne Donnelly and Amy Barrett who collected their second Ulster medal in less than a week!
Wedding Well Wishes
As the senior girls get back to training this week, you may be fooled into thinking that the All Ireland semifinal is the big event that they are all talking about. However this week, a “big day” of a different kind is taking greater priority! On Saturday, senior camog Maria Jordan walks down the aisle to marry Eamonn Haughey! Thirteen days before their wedding, most brides would be wrapping themselves in cotton wool to prevent any bumps and scrapes… Thirteen days before Maria’s wedding, she was playing midfield and a vital part in securing Eglish’s Ulster Victory!
From all at the Camogie Club, we would like to wish Maria and Eamonn a wonderful wedding day and our sincerest best wishes to them both for their future married life.
