Messages of good luck and best wishes for the development at Páirc Chormaic were received from some of Eglish exiles around the globe. See photos below:
- San Francisco Ulster Team with Eglish players Stephen Daly, Caolan Daly, Jody Ogle, Dwyer Jordan and James McCann
- Rory McKillion (Sydney) and Patrick Jordan (Perth)
- Patrick Jordan with Tadhg Kennelly and the Cormac McAnallen Cup at the International Rules Series held in Australia in late 2011
Message from Patrick Jordan in Western Australia:
Congratulations on the opening of Páirc Chormaic, it was truly a marvellous achievement by all concerned. Páirc Chormaic will serve generations to come and at the same time keep the memory of Cormac alive. I saw the pictures from last Sunday and the pitch looks splendid and even though we have lots of sunshine in Australia, I was envious of the beautiful weather you had for the opening ceremonies. I hope you have an equally successful and enjoyable banquet tonight.
Although we are seven hours ahead of you in this part of Australia, don’t hesitate to call me if my ticket comes out of the drum!
Best wishes to everyone at the Gala Banquet.
