Adult Football
Eglish played Trillick in what was our last home league fixture for the current season. Trillick had the better start and led by seven points at half time. Eglish showed more determination in the second half but unfortunately fell short at the final whistle. Final score Eglish 0-10, Trillick 3-10.
The remaining two league games are scheduled to be played as follows: v Ardboe (away) on Saturday 22 September; and v Coalisland (away) on Saturday 13 October. Under-18 (Minor) Football
Details on Eglish’s opponents in the Minor league semi-final and Minor championship semi-final are to be confirmed this week.
Under-13 Football
The Under-13 Grade 3A League began last Friday evening when Eglish made the short trip to play Moy in Moy. In an entertaining and high scoring game our young lads played well and showed good skills, but were unfortunately beaten. Final score Moy 8-10, Eglish 5-11.
The remaining Under-13 league fixtures are as follows: Saturday 29 September, home v Derrytresk; Saturday 6 October, away v Gael Naomh Pádraig (Augher and Clogher amalgamation); Saturday 13 October, home v Stewartstown.
Club Lotto
The Lotto result for Monday 10 September was as follows: winning numbers were 1, 6, 14 and 22. There were six ‘Match 3’ winners: Catherine Donnelly, Imelda Fay, Roisin Jordan, Damian Quinn, Finbar McCann and Stephen McKenna. The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 17 September, Jackpot is £5,800.
All Ireland Tickets Raffle
The club is currently running a draw for two tickets for the All Ireland Football Final. Tickets cost £5 each or book of three for £10. Tickets can be purchased from any committee member.Club
