Camogie Club Notes

Congratulations to Ciara Donnelly, captain of the Queen’s University team who won the All Ireland Purcell Shield at the weekend. Also congratulations to Ciara McGready, Cathy Jordan and Aisling Jordan who were also on the team. We as a club are very proud to have four girls represented on this team.

Commiserations to St. Catherine’s Armagh, and in particular our club members, Alanna Muldoon and Shelly Muldoon, who lost out in their All Ireland Final at the weekend.

Reminder, registration for the coming year is now due and should be paid as soon as possible. Seniors – £30, Students/Non-playing members – £25, U18 – £15. Family concession of £15 for first playing member and £10 for each member thereafter. The club will be holding a registration morning on Sunday 10th March – further details to follow.

Senior training continues Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6.15pm. All minors are encouraged to attend. Please let Barry Fay know if you can’t be there – 07702877233

The annual Camogie Concert will take place on Friday 22nd March – get practicing!

Lastly, congratulations to Julie Lagan who has been selected to captain this years Tyrone County Team – best wishes for the year ahead Julie!
