Seniors
Well done to the Seniors last weekend who had five points to spare over Carrickmore. On the official opening of Carrickmore’s resurfaced pitch, Eglish came away victorious on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-8. Playing with a strong wind in the first half Eglish started brightly and were 1-8 to 0-4 up at the break and held strong in the second half to come away with the 2 points.
The Reserves were unfortunately beaten by a strong Carrickmore outfit on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-9.
The Seniors and Reserves welcome Errigal Ciaran to Fr. Connolly Park on Sunday 5May for our first home game of the year, Reserve game 2:15pm and Senior 3:45pm. We encourage everyone to come out and give the teams your support!
Minors
The Minors played Stewartstown at home last week and unfortunately were beaten by 4 points on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-11.
The Minors play in the Championship on Wednesday 1st May when they welcome Edendork to Fr Connolly Park. Throw in scheduled for 6:45pm.
U14s
The U14s had a good victory over Stewartstown at the weekend on a scoreline of 3:14 to 3:9. The U14s next game is a home game against Gortin on Friday 5 May at 7:15pm.
Feile
Hard luck to the Feile team who were beaten last week in the Semi-Final by eventual Grade 2 winners Rock.
U8 and U10 mini games
There will be an U8 and U10 mini games during half time of our senior league game against Errigal Ciaran which takes place on Sunday 5May in Eglish. We’d like to see a good attendance from all players and parents. Entry fee for league games are Adults £4, Children under 16 – free.
Congratulations
Well done to Donal McAnallen who picked up a McNamee award recently at Croke Park. Donal won the award for 2012 Best GAA Publication Award for his publication – The Cups that Cheered; A History of the Sigerson, Fitzgibbon and Higher Education Gaelic Games.
Congratulations also to Emmet McKenna who was named on last weeks Gaelic Life team of the week.
River Bank Dance Festival

A weekend ticket is available in McCanns and Dalys shop priced at £40.
Gym Circuits
Male and female circuits are being held in the Sports Hall Gym every Wednesday evening (7.30 – 8.40pm) and Saturday morning (9.00 – 10.00am). Everyone is welcome.
Jiving Classes
Jiving classes are still taking place on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm in the Sports Hall. Everyone welcome.
Club Lotto
The Lotto No’s for Monday 22 April were 5,17,22,24. There were three match 3 winners; Fr Connolly, Eamon Jordan and Roisin Jordan.
The next Lotto draw will be held on Monday 29 April, Jackpot is £7300
