The Seniors suffered their second successive defeat in a row at the hands off Omagh on Sunday by two points on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-11. Eglish got off to a great start and were four points up with 14 minutes gone with some good scores from Peter McCann, Sean McKillion and Conall McNulty. Omagh had their purple patch and rattled off 1-5 before the break to leave half time score of 1-6 to 0-8. Omagh continued to just shade the second half until Sean McKillion scored a goal on 26 minutes to leave a point between the teams. What looked like another legitimate goal for Eglish a few minutes later wasn’t given and Omagh secured the victory with another point.
