Over the years Eglish have worn a predominantly black jersey with white shorts and black socks. There have been some spells when a white hoop was introduced to the geansaí, the last year for that strip to be worn was 1990. Sponsorship was introduced to GAA jerseys during the Inter County National Leagues of 1991 and Eglish duly followed suit with the majority of other clubs and counties and embraced the new era of advertising. Eglish Builders Merchants were first to have their company name on an Eglish Senior kit and have remained sponsors of our Senior team ever since.
Our Reserve team currently wear a white jersey while all underage teams are kitted out with a black jersey. In the past it was common for some of our underage sides to wear a black and white vertical striped jersey!
All Eglish jerseys display the club crest which is St. Patrick’s Cross.
